CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Osteopath and Physiotherapist

Dr Nuno Barreto is the founder and Clinical Director of NBfisio, Osteopath and Physiotherapist, graduated in 2005, with extensive experience gained at the Portuguese Rheumatology Institute, the Gymnastics Federation of Portugal, Central Lisbon Hospital Centre: Curry Cabral, São José and Santa Marta Hospitals, among other reference institutions. With a Master's in Education and Pedagogy, he has been a higher education professor and coordinator of various Osteopathy courses since 2009, and has supplementary training in posture correction, advanced manipulative therapy, sports rehabilitation, child health, dissection and surgical techniques from Lisbon Medicine University.
He is the author of various national and international publications, and launched the book “Componente Prática em Osteopatia” [Practical Component in Osteopathy] in 2016.

2019 - NBFISIO ALMADA

NBfisio Liberdade gave way to NBfisio Almada, having opened its doors in October 2019. This is a new clinic of a larger scale and diversity of consultations and treatments, including group lessons and differentiated clinical gymnastics, following high quality standards, and a reference in the area at an international level..

2018 - NBFISIO ESTORIL

In December, we opened the doors of a new clinic in São João do Estoril.

2016 - NBFISIO LIBERDADE

In November 2016, we opened a clinic in Rua da Liberdade in Almada, where we started to offer a series of more comprehensive therapies, such as Clinical Pilates, Naturopathy, Nutrition, Acupuncture, Psychology, among others.

2021 - NBFISIO ALCANTARILHA

Situated to serve the western region of the Algarve, known as the Barlavento Algarvio, NBfisio Alcantarilha emerged as a vanguard clinic, focused on rehabilitation in all its areas.

NBNATURA ALCANTARILHA

NBnatura expanded into the Algarve, taking with it the very best natural and orthopaedic products.

2019 - NBNATURA

NBnatura emerged in October 2019, in the form of a shop offering natural and orthopaedic products, located on Rua da Liberdade in Almada.

2017 - NBFISIO OLHÃO

In May 2017, NBfisio extended to the Algarve, Olhão, elevating the offer of services in the region.

2009 - NBFISIO ESTÁDIO

Founded in 2009, NBfisio – Estádio, located in the José Martins Vieira Municipal Stadium, in Cova da Piedade, Parque da Paz – Almada, with Osteopathy, Physiotherapy and Mesotherapy consultations and treatments, was the “seed” planted with a view to offering differentiated and outstanding services in the area of rehabilitation and support to the athletes and Sports Club in all spheres.
